Do I tip my groomer ?

As with most services you tip based on the service provided . Tipping is always appreciated, Especially if the service is fantastic !



How far in advanced do you need to make an appointment?

Currently it is 2-4 week in advanced. I have availability in certain areas depending my schedule and area I am in, My calendar is starting to fill up. I encourage my clients to book a few appointments in advanced or book out for the year to prevent getting off schedule. ( as of 1/8/23)

Appointments do come available due to cancelations. I am happy to add inquiries to my cancelations list.

Does the owner need to be home?

For the first few appointments I will require the owner to be home for the entire appointment. After we get comfortable with each other then we can make arrangements for a Latch key service.

How often should my dog get groomed?

Recommended to be on a 2/4/6/8 week schedule. Depends on lifestyle , shedding, matting & coat management.

Do you Express Anal Glands?

I do not. If a dog truly needs it done and has issues it is best done at a Vet as they an do it internally and help address the situation.

What if a client needs to cancel?

As long as it is before 24 hours it should be no problem. I give a 48 hour appointment text reminder. It helps so I can refill the spot of the canceled appointment. If it is during 24 hours there will be a fee since it will give no notice to fill a spot. Please refer to my Release form and Policies page for more detail. Thanks!

Do you offer multiple pet discounts?

No unfortunately I do not.

Are there any breeds you don’t groom?

Akita’s , Samoyed , Tibetan Mastiff, Malamutes, Chow Chows ,Sharpei, St Bernard , Long coated huskies . Old English sheep dog,

Do you have a weight limit?

To ease my body I have set a Weight Limit at 85lbs. Dogs must be cooperative as I don’t have a helper. They must be able to get onto the table and into the tub with out being resistant.



Will you need to use my power and water?

Our Vehicle is self contained! We are well equipped with water and a generator,

BUT: At times if our power does fail us ALL we do have a Shoreline power cord we can connect to a garage or utility room to complete services.

Also if there was ever need for us to refill water in multiple dog homes or homes with large dogs we may need to as to top off water to complete services.

I do plan the schedule in mind for if I need to refill water at certain locations, especially if you have no access to water Example: of apartments , hotels, or offices.

Do you groom dogs that are aggressive?

No , if a dog exhibits aggression during the groom process, grooming will be halted and will be charged for the full service . Dogs with aggression ( reactive, snapping , growling , lunging will be best groomed at a vet sedated or a groomer specializing in behavioral issues) As I do not have an assistant to help assist me aswell as I want the best situation for the individual dog.

Occasional muzzling for nails or drying as long as the muzzle is safely staying on and the dog has no health issues , grooming can be continued .
If dogs can not be muzzled safely then Golden Paw Mobile Spa has the right to refuse service and make a recommendation else where .

Some dogs may require kennel drying at a salon due to drying aggression. Which we do not provide .
